Mrs Hewitts has Gluten Free bread that is ACTUALLY NORMAL size, doesn’t fall apart, has great taste, and texture! Stopped into the physical location after hearing good things about them from friends who tried their samples at Costco and raved about it. Jon(staff member) was super friendly and answered all our questions. The hype is real. No more BS mini slices that easily fall apart. They are not in Costco yet, so if you are gluten free/celiac like me and want easier access to this amazing bread, go to Costco’s customer service desk and ask to talk to whoever is in charge of bread. Tell them to sell Mrs Hewitts products. Nothing compares truly.

Best gluten free items I’ve ever had. Bread is big loafs and don’t have crazy holes, and tastes even better than regular bread. Mixes are the best ones I’ve ever as well. I won’t ever buy another gluten free item without seeing if this company has it first. This is the best gluten free company I have ever found. Never mind the staff always being so kind and helpful! This is really the greatest place and gluten free food!

I live in the Buffalo New York area and I have recently discovered this bread at a local grocery store. I love it. I love the flavor. I love the hamburger rolls as well. My only complaint is that the bread that comes sliced is full of lots of holes it’s hard to get one piece of bread that doesn’t disintegrate when I eat it, but I’ll take it because it definitely Has amazing flavor.
Seems to have improved lately. Love that

Their bread is amazing. It is the closest to real bread that I’ve had. Last year I bought stuffing mix and it was 10 oz. My recipe called for 12 oz. I called and the said they could give me some. I was going to drive 20 minutes but a nice lady that works there that lives by me brought it to me. Their mixes and frozen cookies are awesome. I have loved everything I’ve bought from them.

This bread is the top of the line for gluten free, so much better than anything you could hope to find at the grocery store. The cinnamon burst is to die for and the rosemary when they have it is second only to my mom’s home made bread. The pancake mix is great, the take and bake cookies are great, I can’t say enough good things about Mrs. Hewitt’s bakery.

I buy this at wegmans. It's been the best GF loaf I've had. But the one I just got is all messed up. The whole loaf is torn in half. Its insanely hard to make a sandwich out of it.

OMG I’m serious these gf products are amazing. I was at a high-end restaurant in Park City, Utah and ordered their burger with a gf bun (something I never do because restaurant gluten-free buns are most often dry and tasteless). It ended up being so delicious, the gf bun was the best I’d ever had. I asked what gf bakery they ordered from, they gave me the Mrs. Hewitt’s information, and I’ve never looked back! The bread is fluffy and delicious! Cornbread is incredible! You’d never guess these products are gluten free.

I was recently introduced to Mrs. Hewitt's products. Because they are not sold locally, i live in Alabama, i have to order them. The bread is not only tasty, but a good size and texture. The cinnamon burst bread makes wonderful French toast.

Mrs. Hewitt's is by far the best gluten free--and also just best food--out there. If you didn't know it was gluten free, you would not even notice. Looks may be deceiving (location-wise), but they have a LOT of options. Breads, rolls, buns, mixes, cookies, brownies, and cookie dough!
I had given up on ever eating bread again. I thought my mom was crazy when she bought not only one, but two loaves of their bread. Once I tried it, I understood why. We ate half of a loaf from here to Costco (like 2 minutes away).

I bought a loaf of the multigrain bread at Wegmans food store in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. As the other reviewers state, this bread is totally amazing! Both the taste and texture are just like wheat bread. I have tried 20 or more different brands of GF bread in the many years I have had Celiac disease and there is nothing like this. I hope that Wegmans continues to carry it and expand the product line offerings significantly! In the meantime I am very happy that Mrs. Hewitt’s has online ordering.

We had an excellent burger at Warren’s (local burger joint) who offered a Gluten Free option. Dang! It was excellent … both the burger AND the bun. Nicely done, Warren’s! 💥 So I asked the staff where they get their GF buns and breads, or if they baked them? **Mrs Hewitt’s** As others have noted, it was “real” bread (I had to confirm with server a second time it truly was their GF bun). So a solid nod and high-five to Mrs Hewitt’s! We’re from AZ so going to figure out the best way to get these baked goods (celiac household so always on the hunt). Anyway, well done!

I heard about Mrs. Hewitt’s gluten free bread on a Gluten Free page on Facebook. I found it at a Wegman’s in Erie , PA over two hours away. I decided to try the White Bread, Multigrain Bread and Burger Buns. Oh… My… Heavens!!!!! This bread is THE REAL DEAL! It has the taste AND texture of regular gluten containing bread. No toasting required! I’ve made three trips to Erie in 8 weeks. (To be fair, I love Presque Isle state park beaches too, but it’s mid-October and I plan on heading to Wegman’s this weekend for a refill.)
I’d love to see this bread sold in northeast Ohio. We have Buehlers, Whole Foods and Earthfare that carry a lot of gluten free items. Please please please reach out to them! Until then I guess I’ll drive to Erie… I love this stuff!

I discovered the hearty multi-grain bread while on vacation in Utah. It’s the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had! I’d love to see it distributed in Wisconsin or the Midwest. I’d travel again to get a loaf.
